These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of YC Radar, operated by Vertux Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), accessible at ycradar.io (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

YC Radar is an AI-powered lead monitoring tool that scans Hacker News and optionally Bookface (YC's internal forum) for posts matching your product. Posts are scored by AI and relevant leads are delivered to your configured notification channels.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under it. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Bookface Monitoring

Bookface monitoring is an optional feature available on all plans. If you choose to connect your Bookface credentials:

• You must have your own authorized YC Bookface account
• You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with YC's terms of service
• We access Bookface on your behalf using your provided credentials
• This is an unofficial integration — YC does not endorse or sponsor this feature
• We are not responsible if YC restricts or terminates your Bookface access due to automated usage
• You may disconnect your credentials at any time from your settings

4. Subscriptions and Payments

The Service offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe.

• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
• We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service to spam, harass, or send unsolicited communications

6. AI-Generated Content

Lead scores, classifications, and reasoning provided by the Service are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated assessments. You should independently verify any lead information before taking action.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vertux Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time from your settings page.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
